Kawasaki Dirt Bike Models

Kawasaki is the last noted manufacturer of dirt bikes beginning in 1949. Kawasaki was previously producing parts for aeronautical industry (aircraft engine operation) and started producing motocylces for the Asian market by the early 50's. They started producing motorcylces in large numebers starting with a 148cc 4 stroke in 1953. Then in 1963 Kawasaki introduced the B8M 125cc 2 stroke motocrosser bike and then the legend of Kawasaki dirt bikes was born. The bike that started the legend was a purpose built machine that won most of the motocross tournaments in Japan at that time. After the success Kawasaki had with the B8M they released an impressive line up of off road bikes that included: the KX450F, KX250F and the KX100 to name a few.
